# Continue Reading Button

 * The Continue Reading button is appearing at the bottom right of posts even though
   there is not more text. I would like to know how to do the following:
 * 1. Revise the label (text) of the Continue Reading button
    2. Change the Continue
   Reading button URL if I want it to go to a specific WP page or external link.

    you can use the [Say What](https://wordpress.org/plugins/say-what/)
   plugin to change strings inside your theme.
 * You cannot change the linking URL without writing custom code that handles this.

 * What does ‘string’ inside theme mean? Where is the string?
 * Can you tell me which PHP page in the editor I can edit which is specific to 
   the Continue Reading button.

 * You can use this plugin [https://wordpress.org/plugins/page-links-to/](https://wordpress.org/plugins/page-links-to/)
   to make the continue reading button (and the post’s title) link to a custom URL
   of your choice.
 * Regarding the button text modification, it would be better if you used the suggested
   plugin instead of editing any theme files.
