 * I have been using your plugin on my WordPress site [http://www.griffinbikepark.com](http://www.griffinbikepark.com)
   on a few pages, and it’s been really helpful. I’m new to WordPress, but can get
   by using shortcode as it’s described well on your plugin FAQ’s.
 * I’ve read all the forums, websites, FAQ’s, etc, but I don’t understand how your
   plugin decides what the columns widths will be and more importantly how I can
   control the column widths.
 * Here is where my problem is located, the spreadsheet extends beyond the page
   even though my design module is set for 3/4 and 1/4 columns across the page:
   [https://griffinbikepark.com/news](https://griffinbikepark.com/news)
 * Here is my shortcode:
 * [gdoc key=”[https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1mFOC6dogVyLBKnXfN-SGmrUMCUj7CCP5T3TCnAOBwCg/edit?usp=sharing”](https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1mFOC6dogVyLBKnXfN-SGmrUMCUj7CCP5T3TCnAOBwCg/edit?usp=sharing”)
   query=”select A, B, C, D” datatables_order=”Date” use_cache=”no”]
 * I don’t know the difference between shortcode and CSS, but my understanding is
   I can only control column widths using CSS. I have no idea how to edit my shortcode
   and/or add CSS to it to make this work.
 * PS. Ideally I could control the spreadsheet widths in my Google Spreadsheet and
   not have to do it in WordPress. Is this possible?
 * Any help/information you can provide is greatly appreciated.
 * Thanks!

 * > I don’t understand how your plugin decides what the columns widths will be
 * This is an automatic process that all tables (not just those created by this
   plugin) go through, whose details are described [here](https://stackoverflow.com/questions/17150154/how-is-column-width-determined-in-browser/17150620#17150620).
 * > my understanding is I can only control column widths using CSS.
 * That’s correct.
 * > I have no idea how to edit my shortcode and/or add CSS to it to make this work.
 * Then you need to learn how to write CSS, or have someone else who does write
   some for you. The Internet has a lot of articles about doing this that can help
   you start out. [Here’s one](http://code.tutsplus.com/articles/beginning-with-wordpress-editing-the-look-of-your-site-with-css--wp-32783).

 * I need to hire someone experienced in writing CSS and ideally familiar with this
   plugin to help me solve my issues with customizing the column widths in the ~
   3 spreadsheets on my site.
 * Does anyone out there meet these qualifications and available immediately?
