 * I’ve imported a conversion/goal from Analytics into Adwords. Adwords does not
   create a conversion ID then. What do i need to fill in at the conversion field
   in the plugin settings or can i leave this empty?

 * Hi [@jantjed](https://wordpress.org/support/users/jantjed/)
 * You can’t use the imported Analytics conversion **and** the AdWords conversion
   at the same time. Conversions would be double counted.
 * You’ll first have to decide which one to use, Analytics or AdWords.
 * Using AdWords conversions with our plugin has certain advantages. For instance
   we make sure not to double count conversions, etc.
 * So if you decide to use AdWords conversions you’ll have to:
    Deactivate the Analytics
   conversions. Create a new AdWords conversion pixel in AdWords: [https://goo.gl/nXDeoM](https://goo.gl/nXDeoM).
   Take the conversion ID and conversion label from the pixel and save into our
   plugin. Done

 * Hi alekv,
 * Thx for you reply. I only use the imported analytics goal in Adwords. So i have
   no conversion ID. What should i do then?

 * As mentioned in my earlier post. You either decide to only use the imported goal
   from Analytics. Or you disable it an start using the AdWords conversion pixel.
   Instructions on how to do it you’ll find here: [https://goo.gl/nXDeoM](https://goo.gl/nXDeoM)

 * I’m assuming you are tracking transactions (as opposed to views of key pages
   or cart adds). If you can you should implement Adwords conversion tracking. Adwords
   and analytics track conversions quite differently, and their reporting times
   vary.
 * Your campaigns will do better with native conv tracking. You can still track
   conversions within analytics, especially if you have enhanced ecommerce enabled
   and the analytics code is set up properly (universal analytics).
 * Goals are good for funnels, but enhanced ecomm is better, providing additional
   ecomm data as it relates to transactions (conversions).
