Converting comment website entry text box to normal text – remove "http://"

Hi all,

Pretty basic question I guess. Basically I’m trying to convert the website comment field into a normal text entry field.

I figure I’m just about there but I need to find where WordPress is appending “http://” to whatever is entered into the text box. I’m guessing that this is appended prior to being inserted into the database as the “http://” appears in the colums along with whatever text I submitted.

Any ideas?
