# Converting from previous encoding format

 * Hello folks!
    i came from a pmachine install and, after a suscesfull import, 
   I had to change my encoding to iso-8859, as that was the format of my posts on
   pmachine. However, I’d like to make it all unicode. Is there a way to convert
   what’s already stored? Yours, Francis

 * That’s a great little tool, tacker.
    My only suggestion would be to add a few
   lines about backing up the DB, for those that use phpMyadmin and not command 
   tools.
