Hello! I’ve installed this plug-in years ago on one of my websites, and it seemed to work. A few weeks ago I installed it on a fresh WP install and noticed on the new website that there’s a whole “Cookie categories” section where I can set the scripts on a per category basis. The problem is I cannot see such a section in my old install, so I’m wondering if something went wrong with past updates?
All the rest seems to work, including the cookie scan, but in the plug-in menu on the left I only have the old “necessary” and “Non necessary” sections that existed for older versions.
I tried to uninstall and install again the plug-in but no luck, nothing changes.
    Any suggestions?

    Hi @kikaweb,

    Thanks for reaching out.

We have introduced the dynamic cookie categories feature from version 2.0.0 onwards. If you are an old user and not seeing the ‘Cookie Category’ section on the menu, please update the plugin to the latest version and go to GDPR Cookie Consent > Cookie Scanner menu. and click on migrate database link. Here is the reference article.

    Hello,
thanks for pointing out this. The first time I updated the plug-in I saw no “migrate categories” option. I uninstalled and reinstalled the plug-in and now I can see the option, I migrated the categories and now everything worked as expected.
Thanks a lot for your suggestion and for this awesome plug-in!
