cookie policy contains statistics cookies, but they cannot be disabled

    Hi,

    I don’t know exactly since when (maybe a recent cookie scan), but there was a new cookie detected from Automattic and it is declared as statistics cookie (I noticed it, because I never had any statistics cookies on my website before). It is listed on the cookie policy page under Automattic. So far so good.

    According to my understanding, there should be a possibility for the user to NOT consent to statistics and marketing cookies (i.e. disable them), either in the cookie banner or in section 7.1 of the cookie policy. But this possibility is not available. The user can disable marketing cookies, but he/she cannot disable statistics cookies. The option is just not available, neither in the cookie policy nor in the cookie banner.

    I assume this behaviour is not correct…

    I have tested with a new incognito window on Chrome.

    Can you please help?
