• Yoast SEO is one of the better tools I have used for SEO-related things in WordPress. But it’s so buggy. For example, it gives a warning I do have not enough external links. After adding a few it keeps saying the same.
Another example: Images need ALT tags (or something). All my images have ALT, titles, and whatnot.

I have a technical blog, most of the blogs contain technical code and stuff. Yoast doesn’t seem to like that, but sometimes it does like it… I don’t know. 2 out of 3 blogs show this error:

The “yoast-seo” plugin has encountered an error and cannot be rendered.

No other errors, just this. I can’t continue like this. So I deleted the plugin and will try something else.

  • Hi @kenslearningcurve,

Thanks for taking the time to write a review.

I can imagine how frustrating it’s when a plugin doesn’t work as expected on your website. I know you are no longer using Yoast SEO; however, if you decide to give it another try in the future and experience similar issues, we’d kindly ask you to create a new topic in the plugin forum. Our support team will look into the issue and assist you further.

    Thanks!
