Counter Reset upon Switching to https

    Upon switching my site to https, the counter of all social media sharing got reset to zero. Is there any way to restore the numbers?

    Thanks for reaching out.

    The issue is that the counts are url-specific, and Facebook et al. regard an url on http as a different one than one on https, hence it’s back to 0. In this plugin https://www.ultimatelysocial.com/usm-premium/ we implemented the feature that your counts on http and https get aggregated, restoring your counts.

    And it has many other fancy features too as you can see 🙂
