 * Upon switching my site to https, the counter of all social media sharing got 
   reset to zero. Is there any way to restore the numbers?

 * The issue is that the counts are url-specific, and Facebook et al. regard an 
   url on http as a different one than one on https, hence it’s back to 0. In this
   plugin [https://www.ultimatelysocial.com/usm-premium/](https://www.ultimatelysocial.com/usm-premium/)
   we implemented the feature that your counts on http and https get aggregated,
   restoring your counts.
 * And it has many other fancy features too as you can see 🙂
