# Counting trackbacks

 * Hi, I’ve been looking around for this but i’ don’t seem to find the answer.
    
   I’d like to display on the main page the number of trackbacks a given post has
   received. ¿Is it possible? Thanks in advance 🙂

 * How can I get trackbacks/pingbacks to work correctly and show on my blog???
    
   I’ve tried everything from ScriptyGoddess’ Separating Comments/Trackbacks to 
   Eric Meyers’ MW Comments/Trackbacks plug-in. Nothing is working. In fact, my 
   default permalink structure is like this:
 * > `http://voices.dewaun.com/index.php?p=273`
 * but my trackback structure show’s to be like this:
 * > `http://voices.dewaun.com/wp-trackback.php/273`
 * and when I enter the trackback URL in a browser, it returns a PAGE NOT FOUND 
   error.
    I’m using the default permalink structure so there’s no rewrite_mod info
   to update my .htaccess file with in the OPTIONS > PERMALINKS panel. What am I
   doing wrong?

 * I wish there were developments on this front…
 * I’ve tried using all mentioned solutions only to find they don’t exactly work
   in WP 1.5.x. I may have to hack together a solution tomorrow morning @ work…
