Countries are unknown?

    Hi,

    I correctly install the pluging and my friends who visited my website from France are ok…I see the french flag near their IP adress.

    But one of my friend connected from Australia and I see his connection but with an “unknown” countires and flag.

    I enable GEOIP database update but there is no resultat…what the solution to see my connection from US or Australia?

    Unfortunately GeoIP detection isn’t an exact science, we use the MaxMind database to do the lookups so if it doesn’t know where the IP address is the plugin won’t detect it correctly.

    Make sure you to go Statistics->Optimization->Updates and run an update if you haven’t enabled “Populate missing GeoIP after update of GeoIP DB” in the settings.
