So that this discount/ coupon will get applied automatically in cart/ checkout.

Yes, it is possible to offer discount for specific payment methods.

Also, choose the setting “Apply discount -> All matched rules” from our settings tab. For example: https://nimb.ws/XWolBwN

So that customers will get additional discount while choosing specific payment methods.
