    Hi,

    1. My courses created with Tutor LMS show up as posts (blogs)
    2. At checkout I see billing adress as mandatory. How do I turn this off.
    3. The page title is cut off. I see no options to be able to style this. (refer image for all 3)

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi @bagaa ,
Could you please try switching to a default theme (such as Twenty Twenty-One) and check if the issues persist? Sometimes custom themes can cause conflicts or override layouts in unexpected ways.

Additionally, regarding the billing address showing as mandatory at checkout — you can override the following template file to remove those fields:

    wp-content/plugins/tutor/templates/ecommerce/billing-form-fields.php

    1. I’m sorry. My words will sound harsh. This sounds like a terrible advise! Changing my theme will break my whole website and make it look like crap.
    2. I’m not a developer and it would help if you give me the steps to override.

Hope you’re having a good day so far 😊

    Hi @bagaa ,

Thank you for your honest feedback—and no worries at all, I completely understand your concern.

Just to clarify, changing the theme directly on your live site isn’t necessary. Instead, I recommend creating a staging site first to test things safely without affecting your live website.

Regarding template overrides, a bit of development knowledge is indeed required, as incorrect changes could cause functionality issues. If you’d still like to proceed, you can follow this step-by-step guide on overriding templates:

I’m sorry. How am I supposed to change the whole look and feel of my website to make this work? It took me 3 months to make things perfect. How can I just change the theme?

Also, I went through your tutorial page. It doesn’t say how to get the address and other fields off.

Why do my courses show up as posts and not pages?
