# Crashed DB

 * Hi,
 * I repaired the DB because it had crashed. I ran the [http://www.yoursite.com/wp-admin/maint/repair.php](http://www.yoursite.com/wp-admin/maint/repair.php)
 * And this is what i got.
 * wp_usermeta: 1 client is using or hasn’t closed the table properly
    wp_posts:
   1 client is using or hasn’t closed the table properly wp_comments: 12 clients
   are using or haven’t closed the table properly wp_options: Table is marked as
   crashed wp_commentmeta: 9 clients are using or haven’t closed the table properly
 * Does anyone know if this can be fixed ?

 * Try:
    – switching to the default theme automatically by renaming your current
   theme’s folder inside wp-content/themes and adding “-old” to the end of the folder
   name using [FTP](http://codex.wordpress.org/FTP_Clients) or whatever file management
   application your host provides.
 * – [resetting the plugins folder](http://codex.wordpress.org/FAQ_Troubleshooting#How_to_deactivate_all_plugins_when_not_able_to_access_the_administrative_menus.3F)
   by FTP or phpMyAdmin.
 * – repairing your db tables again.
