# create folder inside wp-content/uploads

 * I checked on the option in Miscellaneous Options
    “Organize my uploads into month-
   and year-based folders” and setup permission 777 for uploads folder.
 * but WP automatically create only year directory “2006”
    now I made month directory“
   03” inside year directory”2006″ manually. image uploading is ok.. working well
 * Do I have to make month directory in the beginning of every month??
    let me know
   how can I escape from this thing.

 * yes I did.. and now I checked directory info again.
    uploads, 2006, 03 directories
   are setted at 777.
 * I found more things about ownership for each directory.
    *upload directory( I
   did set this directory at 777 by myself): owner and group is my id. *03 directory(

   WP created this directory): owner and group is apache.
 * so I assume I have to make month directory per every month..
    please let me know
   how can I escape from this situation…help me..

 * Options > Miscellaneous, uncheck “Organize my uploads into month- and year-based
   folders.”

 * 1. You don’t really need them organized that way
    2. Even if you do, it should
   be automatic if you check the option
