# Creating a ‘GridBox’?

 * Hi,
 * I was using a different trending posts plugin, but wheraas the layout of this
   other plugin is immaculate, it doesn’t ‘trend’ unless you select ‘all time’ in
   their settings, which makes it all a little pointless if you only wanted to show
   last weeks, or last months popular posts.
 * The layout that I’m referring to is their ‘gridbox’, which shows a massive first
   image, then two rows of two equally sized images, all the images having something
   like a 1px padding (margin?) on them to space it all out a little.
 * Any chance of adding this gridbox to the WPP portfolio, or a few instructions
   on how to construct this?
 * Thanks for reading!

 * Hi [@deeveearr](https://wordpress.org/support/users/deeveearr/),
 * A grid like that works nicely when placed outside of the sidebar. Inside a sidebar
   though, which is where WPP widgets normally live, I’m not sure it would work
   due to how sidebars normally are: space constrained, often at the side or the
   bottom of the page. A grid like the one you described in such a tight space would
   not work – at least not as I imagine it (since you didn’t share a screenshot
   nor a live URL where I could see it in action.) Hence why I’m not a fan of including
   such an option as part of the built-in widget themes. I may do a Block version
   in a future release though as Gutenberg blocks can be used inside larger containers,
   but that’s still far in the horizon.
 * Anyways, I’m 100% certain that replicating such a grid structure (or build a
   very similar one) is possible with WPP: [How can I style my popular posts list to look like [insert your desired look here]?](https://github.com/cabrerahector/wordpress-popular-posts/wiki/5.-FAQ#how-can-i-style-my-list-to-look-like-insert-your-desired-look-here)

 * Hi [@hcabrera](https://wordpress.org/support/users/hcabrera/)
 * Yes, I’m using the shortcode version of WPP at the moment, so that I can add
   the posts into a page, and I detest using Gutenberg blocks anyway, preferring
   to use the classic editor.
 * The layout I used with the other plugin looked like [THIS IMAGE](https://imgur.com/qxW7CTu)
   but I’ve since deleted the other plugin because they just don’t grasp ‘range’
   settings.
 * Just thought I’d drop the image in here before I read your other documentation.
