Hello, I just downloaded the plug in and my Gutenberg backend editor looks very different from the more basic version showed in Support docs. I have to create a TEXT block first, then add a recipe within it. Then add another block for non recipe text, or photos. I end up with a post involving several blocks, once of which has my recipe. Why does my backend editor looks so different and am I doing this wrong? (I’m on Hazel theme)
    Thanks for any support!

It doesn’t look like the first screenshot on this page?

The idea of the Gutenberg editor is that every element on a page is a separate block. So you’d have some paragraph blocks, an image block, some more paragraph blocks and then the recipe block, for example.

Can you send a screenshot of what you’re seeing exactly to [email protected]

Thanks for the response – It doesn’t look like that link, but it functions like you are describing. I will send a screenshot to the support email you referenced. Thanks!

If anyone else ends up here: in this case it was actually the “WPBakery Page Builder” active and not the default WordPress Block Editor (Gutenberg), so it looks a bit different.

WP Recipe Maker does work fine in page builders as well, although you won’t get a preview in all cases. It’s covered in this article: https://help.bootstrapped.ventures/article/67-creating-a-recipe
