 * Up until now we’ve only had one podcast so I only have the main feed. I now want
   to create a second podcast using taxonomy and don’t want to have these show up
   in the existing feed. But would prefer not to change the main feed URL. Is this
   possible?

 * Hello [@lpdoobie](https://wordpress.org/support/users/lpdoobie/),
 * If your taxonomy is tied to a separate custom post type then yes they can be
   separate.
 * If your current feed is using category podcasting, again the answer is yes if
   you enable strict category podcasting in PowerPress.
 * Other solutions:
 * Create a custom post type for your 2nd+ podcasts.
 * Use Podcast Channels to create separate feeds (it adds a 2nd+ episode box to
   every blog post).
 * Can you reply with the URL to your current podcast feed? A quick look at that
   can narrow your options down.
 * Thanks,
    Angelo

 * Definitely. Here’s the current feed:

 * Hello [@lpdoobie](https://wordpress.org/support/users/lpdoobie/),
 * Your current feed is using the default podcast feed URL.
 * You could use the custom podcast channel or custom post type approach to solve
   this problem. IF you known ahead of time though that you were going to create
   2+ podcasts, strict category podcasting would be a better choice, but it would
   have required you to use categories from the beginning.
 * If you have no experience with post types, then I would recommend podcast channels.
   The blog posts would all come from the “Posts” section of your website, but you
   would then have a 2nd episode box for the 2nd podcast channel. Any time you have
   an episode for the 2nd podcast you would use the 2nd episode box, and use the
   default episode box for your first podcast.
 * Important, if your podcasts are similar then hosting them on the same website
   should work fine. If the podcasts are completely different or have nothing related
   to each other, we recommend that you start a new website.
 * Thanks,
    Angelo

 * I went with Channels as that seemed the most straightforward and it is working
   fine. The only thing I don’t see is how to have each channel have a different
   podcast icon. Is this possible?

 * By “podcast icon,” are you referring to artwork (like the art you’d see when
   a podcast is listed in Apple Podcasts)? Or something else?

 * Yes, the artwork that shows in the podcast listing.

 * Log in to your WordPress site and hover over the PowerPress menu in the lefthand
   sidebar. Click Podcast Channels in the popup menu.
 * On the next page, you’ll see your channels listed on the right. Hover over the
   name of the channel you’d like to edit and an Edit link will appear under the
   name. Click that Edit link and go to the Artwork tab to update the artwork for
   that channel. Be sure to click the Save Changes button after any changes are
   made.
 * Once that’s done, clear any site caches, if applicable.
