I now want to create a second podcast using taxonomy and don’t want to have these show up in the existing feed. But would prefer not to change the main feed URL. Is this possible? IF you known ahead of time though that you were going to create 2+ podcasts, strict category podcasting would be a better choice, but it would have required you to use categories from the beginning. * If you have no experience with post types, then I would recommend podcast channels. The blog posts would all come from the “Posts” section of your website, but you would then have a 2nd episode box for the 2nd podcast channel. Any time you have an episode for the 2nd podcast you would use the 2nd episode box, and use the default episode box for your first podcast. * Important, if your podcasts are similar then hosting them on the same website should work fine. The only thing I don’t see is how to have each channel have a different podcast icon. Click Podcast Channels in the popup menu. * On the next page, you’ll see your channels listed on the right. Hover over the name of the channel you’d like to edit and an Edit link will appear under the name. Click that Edit link and go to the Artwork tab to update the artwork for that channel. Be sure to click the Save Changes button after any changes are made. * Once that’s done, clear any site caches, if applicable.
