# Creating additional meta data for posts

 * When we insert on our page a post block, grid, carousel or whatever – this is
   where our posts will be displayed. In our case, we’re creating a website to display
   videos. And we are already using “date, time and author” – which we can choose
   whatever we want – to also display that information when a post is being introduced.
   We would like to people to see duration of a video in that ‘post-link’. Is that
   possible?
 * Like – beyond date, author and time data, can we insert a new data to wordpress
   posts?

 * You can add the code to the functions.php file of your child theme or use a plugin
   like code snippets.
 * Ensure you test this on a staging server first.

 * I’d like to custom post meta appears in a post carousel as “custom meta data”.
   I’ve tried to create custom post metaboxes but I can’t get it to shows in Elementor
   or in the page. It asks me for a meta_key, which I can’t find…
