 * I’m looking to collect quite a bit of information from a few hundred forms with
   one question.
 * Would it be possible, to include a javascript button that isn’t part of the spreadsheet
   in the HTML table, which would show/hide a form relating to the row above it?
 * For example, say you have a form that outputs the price of an item, this item
   is also in the spreadsheet, and users can vote on what they think the appropriate
   price is by clicking the javascript button, entering their answer and submitting,
   which would update the spreadsheet.
 * This is what I’m trying to accomplish.

 * Just to clarify, by form I’m referring to Google’s own form/survey which is a
   part of the Google Docs suite.

 * Like a [poll](http://tomuse.com/wordpress-poll-plugin/)?
 * The short answer to your question is that yes, it’s possible, but it’s not something
   this plugin was designed to do on its own.

 * Thanks for the reply,
 * It’s good to hear that it’s possible to do what I have in mind, my next question
   is can I edit the generated HTML table to insert my code? And if so, where is
   it stored?

 * I don’t think you’re listening to me. The HTML for the generated tables isn’t
   stored anywhere, because the tables are generated from the Google Spreadsheet
   data, on the fly. It is possible to do what you want to do, but it is a programming
   task, and not something this plugin alone was designed to do.

 * I’m sorry, you weren’t particularly clear about how the plugin handled HTML tables
   in your previous reply, “yes, it’s possible, but it’s not something this plugin
   was designed to do on its own.” – didn’t give me that insight at all; But thanks
   for the clarification.

 * Okay, well, as [I mentioned before](https://wordpress.org/support/topic/creating-html-table-from-spreadsheet-include-java-button-showhide-form?replies=6#post-6381606),
   judging from what you say you are interested in creating, I suggest looking into
   one of the many poll plugins available for WordPress. You’re more likely to find
   a solution that requires less programmatic customization with one of those than
   with this plugin. Good luck!
