Critical error, automatic updates not working
-
Hello,
Using the Dutch translation:
Kritische error Hoe op te lossen
Kritische error Bijwerken is uitgeschakeld.Click on “solve problem (los het op)”
The notification window says “problem solved (Fout opgelost) ” and the critical error is still there.
I already removed the “AUTOMATIC_UPDATER_DISABLED” line.
Any ideas? Thanks.

Hi,
I’ll have a look at this right away!
Thanks,
we need update manually once a fix is available, the plugin as will not auto-update.Just a few questions;
– Have you tried re-activating the plugin? I’ve made some massive changes to the database and while this shouldn’t cause any issues it’s always better to be safe than sorry.
– What PHP version are you running? (Can be seen on the status tab of this plugin)Hi @papin, thank you for the reply.
Updates that cause the existing plugin to be broken seems to be not a good update, sorry if i tell you 😀
Mmmm I’m not happy on know the plug-in is not working anymore also i have to do what you are asking for for three different website, I need to login in each one with the two step and i can try but i cannot do this every time a plug-in is updated… so seems strange to me deactivate and reactivate can solve the issue.
PHP is 7.3
I think last update you did broke the plugin.
Last update made by the plugin was made at 20 january-

The issue persist also if i deactivate and loose all plugin settings and activate again.
I edited some plugin version but in different hours nothing is updated.
I will remove the plugin for now, using an alternative. Will keep updated on this post.
The site we’re working on also has updating issue. Below is the error log we received.

So it’s been a while but I think that version 3.5 should fix these issues. Please let me know 🙂
Hi @papin I’m happy to read you have fixed, unfortunately for now i don’t think to come back to your plug-in. The issue was strong and has been present for a long time. Sorry.
I love your plugin, maybe i will think to come back one day.
I will think on it.Have a great time 🙂
@peopleinside understandable, I wish I could’ve fixed the issue sooner but I had a lot of work to do in the past months so I didn’t have any time to work on my plugins.
It’d be great to have you back some day but if not I’ll understand, there are more plugins out there and if you found one that works for you that’s cool.
You too have a great time 🙂
