# Cron action callback not executing

 * I can see the scheduled cron on the grid, but while clicking on run now it shows
   executed successfully but not actually calling to the callback function.
 * Not sure what’s the problem. any recommendations are much appreciated.

 * I’ve seen this a few times but I’ve never been able to track down the cause. 
   Do you have a very high number of cron events on your site?

 * I am having the same issue. Made a cron event. it runs successfully but wont 
   work.
    Hey John I can give you access to the theme and you can see that I made
   a simple function and it does not seem to be executing.
 * I also tried a PHP cron event right in the browser. they wont run…
