I think for big scrolling effects you’re going to need more than just CSS. I’m not sure what you envision, but it sounds like a ‘parallax’-style effect.
Most likely there is some plugin for this around which you can combine with a button, but you’ll have to search for that. I have no recommendations for this.
Thank you for the reply. I am sorry that I did not describe very well what I am seeking. Here is an example. Please notice how the orange button “flies” in from left to right. I don’t think this is parallax, is it?

I am using this theme but the buttons are limited so I am using MaxButtons to create the type of button I am seeking. But, don’t know how to add this “fly in” effect.

If you are referring to the first purchase button, that’s a slider. If you want animation like that you’ll need to find some slider plugin which can handle shortcodes. The one they are using is LayerSlider, but there are more out there.
