# CSS Drop-Down

 * In order to get rid of the ‘gloss’ background I had to do a:
 * -webkit-appearance: none;
 * but when that’s done the white arrows are gone (see dropbox link below) – I’d
   like to keep these if possible.
 * Ideas / Suggestions?

 * You’re trying to style the selectbox? Selectboxes are UI elements produced by
   the browser – the RSM doesn’t style these. Webkit is one of the few browsers 
   that gives you any control over this at all. I’m not aware of how exactly those
   errors are produced, but I’m sure there are some tutorials out there on styling
   select boxes.
