 * Hello,
 * I am working on the [http://www.legacyrealestate.net](http://www.legacyrealestate.net)
   website. I have been asked to create a new menu, which is longer than the current
   one (more words) on the site now. I have decreased the font size, decreased the
   padding, messed around with the sizes of the Logo Container, but no matter what
   I do, when I try to institute the new menu, it pushes the Legacy Real Estate
   Logo (left of the menu) above the menu to the top left corner and leaves a big
   blank space.
 * Even when it appears there is enough room for the menu and the logo, the logo
   still pops up to the top above the menu. I am not sure what I am doing wrong.
   Does anyone know what area of the CSS I should edit to fix this? I’ll copy and
   paste it below.
 * Thank you for ANY help with this, it is driving me batty.
 * Tom

 * Hi Tom,
    It’s hard to say for sure without seeing it with that extra menu item
   in it, but I’m thinking it has something to do with around line 264 #menu-container{
   max-width: 775px; } Your site doesn’t seem to be responsive, so you could probably
   go with “width” instead of “max-width”. Maybe try something like this:
 *     ```
       #menu-container {
          width: 630px
       }
       ```
 * Of course, if this isn’t a custom or child theme, be sure to add this with a
   Custom CSS Plugin. Hope it works for you.
 * Thank you for your assistance, I’ll give that a shot. Here is a screen cap of
   what it looks like when it goes all off.
 * Hope this link works..
 * Ah, well that obviously won’t fit “as is” with your logo. You will have to decrease
   the font-size and padding along with doing what I described above. Or possibly
   have the menu titles on two lines. Hopefully, all together, that will work.
 * Thank you again. I didn’t change the logo to the smaller one in the pdf I posted,
   as I just wanted to show what was happening all the time. Even with a much smaller
   logo, that fits within the size constraints of the menu, it still does that.
 * But I will take your advice and try using width instead of max-width. I did already
   size down the font and padding. Perhaps not in the pdf, but in my many attempts
   to solve this, I changed it from 13 to 10 and padding as well.
 * If I have anymore questions, I will ask. Again, thank you so much for your help,
   it is very appreciated.
