• Hi

I am new to WP. I am trying to customize the Booklite theme – but I ran into the same problem in the standard Twenty-Eleven theme.

Right now I can’t figure out how to get rid of this big honking white space at the top of the content area – below the header…

I must admit I am extremely frustrated. Everyone tells me how easy and customizeable WP is compared to other CMS. Maybe the one I am using is the “devil I know” but I don’t find this easy or straight forward at all.

Thanks in advance for any help you might give me.

    Dana

Have you tried forums that specialise in CSS support?

Also – lame I know but I can’t seem to get the center column into the center.

It is working in the latest IE but not Chrome or Firefox.

Ideally I’d like the logo on the left to be in its own column with a little bit of padding and the “donate” button on the right to slightly overlap the corner of the center column and move up and down with the page as it is scrolled. And, I’d like the center column to expand to fill the space in the middle.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!!
