 * Hi,
 * I do have a reasonably grasp of CSS and I’ve read the relevant threads on here
   and your sticky, but I’m still having problems with my site at [http://www.mondayschild.org.uk](http://www.mondayschild.org.uk)
 * I’ve created controls, put in what I am sure are the correct selectors, tried
   different variations and I still can’t seem to get it to work for these:
 * `<div id="logo"><span class="site-name"><a class="navbar-brand" href="http://
   www.mondayschild.org.uk/" title="Mondays Child" rel="home">Mondays Child</a></
   span></div>`
 * `<h3 class="widget-title">`
 * `<ul id="menu-main" class="nav navbar-nav"><li id="menu-item-19" class="menu-
   item menu-item-type-post_type menu-item-object-page menu-item-19"><a title="About"
   href="http://www.mondayschild.org.uk/about/">About</a></li>`
 * `<input type="text" class="form-control search-query" value="" name="s" id="s"
   placeholder="Search...">`
 * For example, creating a control with .site-name changes the menu items and post
   heading, when the class isn’t actually applied to those!
 * Thanks in advance and sorry for asking something that perhaps should be obvious!

 * I’m trying a different theme at the moment, so you may not see what I am talking
   about if you look now.

 * It’s working perfectly as expected with different theme, but didn’t with the
   previous one (Sparkling). Not sure why not (maybe I should try again and use
   the override function?) I’ll stick with this them now that is working well, I
   think.
