 * Hi,
 * I have a large quantity of books (3000+) that I would like to import into the
site. These are currently stored in an excel spreadsheet, so ideally I would
import these using a CSV file into the site.
 * I looked at your import tools but they don’t seem to be in a format I need (as
I have no amazon account, ISBN etc).
 * I have tried using a 3rd party tool to import using the CSV, but I can’t get
the format completely correct that will allow searching of books/authors etc.
 * If there was even a list of all the fields that are used by MyBookTable and a
description of what they are, I might be able to figure out some way of using
   a 3rd party import tool.
 * Would anyone have an example of a suitable CSV format, or have any advice? I
would consider upgrading if one of the mybooktools tools can do this quickly.
I’ve been impressed with the plugin so far, but until I can get all my content
onto the site I cannot use its full potential.
 * Thanks in advance for any help/thoughts.

 * For each book, I have the author and the published date and some other custom
metatdata I would like to have included as part of it, such as quotes.

 * If you had the ISBN number of the books in the spreadsheet you could easily import
using the Amazon importer by copying that column and pasting it into the import
   tool.
 * Another option is to convert your csv to a UIEE (Universal Information Exchange
Environment) file. MyBookTable supports UIEE imports.
 * If you are using a book database tool like HomeBase or Readerware these can export
a UIEE file that MyBookTable can accept.
