# Ctrl-V doesn’t paste, it opens new window!

 * I’m running two different versions of WP for two different sites (2.1 and 2.2.2).
   I work from two different locations; at both locations I use Windows XP and Firefox
   2.0.
 * At location 1, I can paste into a WP posting field using Ctrl-V with no problems.
   Doesn’t matter which version of WP I’m in.
 * At location 2, if I use Ctrl-V in a posting box, it opens a new Firefox window(
   and does not paste the text). THIS IS REALLY ANNOYING as I do a lot of copying
   and pasting at location 2.
 * Note: this only applies to the posting field in Visual mode. I can paste into
   other fields OK, and I can paste into the posting field in Code mode.
 * I cannot figure out what’s going on. I have only a few Firefox extensions activated,
   and most are also active at location 1. So what the Hell is so special about 
   that WP posting field in Visual mode that it won’t accept pasted text at location
   2?
 * I know this isn’t the most dire problem ever, but it’s driving me crazy, because
   as I said, I do a lot of pasting from location 2. I don’t just want a workaround(
   i.e., use Code mode), I want a FIX. All opinions welcome!

 * FYI: this problem went away when I rebooted the computer. D’oh. (Mark as resolved.)
