cURL error 60

Trying to fetch an https feed from a different https site is producing a cURL error 60. We’ve changed the certificate path in the settings and have even tried to “Force the feed” using the checkbox. The feed is accessible through the browser and displays but won’t import. Any help or advice on where and what to update/look at and focus our efforts would be greatly appreciated.
