 * today I installed the latest WordPress 4.7 from wordpress.org (locale: de-DE)
   and I wanted to install a plugin. It gave me this (translated from German):
 * Installing Plugin: Regenerate Thumbnails
    Download of the plugin package from
   [http://downloads.wordpress.org/plugin/regenerate-thumbnails.zip](http://downloads.wordpress.org/plugin/regenerate-thumbnails.zip)…
 * Download failed. cURL error 77: error setting certificate verify locations: CAfile:…
 * My WordPress is set to https:// but it wants to download from http://
 * What is wrong and how can I fix this?

 * It’s likely your server has an older version of cURL. Ask your hosting provider
   if they need to upgrade their version of cURL to the latest version.
