# curl string error

 * I’ve got a site that is quite old now, but happily running an old theme that 
   relies heavily on Post Thumb Revisited. I migrated the site from one server to
   another and now its not working – not displaying (or creating) the thumbs.
 * The error log is showing
 * Warning: curl_setopt() expects parameter 2 to be long, string given in /home/
   sites/mysite.com/public_html/wp-content/plugins/post-thumb/lib/post-thumb-functions.
   php on line 105
 * This is beyond my expertise. Any suggestions as to what this is pointing to. 
   My web hosts suggests that it may be requiring php v5.2, but also says that even
   with that it may well not work as ‘all loopback connections are blocked for security
   reasons’.
 * Any advice on fixing this? (On the basis that I want to fix, and don’t want to
   mess with a previously smooth running theme/plugin combo, albeit an old one, 
   even if other options are now available).

 * Can you post the code from your /wp-content/plugins/post-thumb/lib/post-thumb-
   functions.php file to Pastebin and submit the link to the file.

 * The new host has 5.3, and I’ve set it to 5.2 as they have suggested, with no 
   effect.

 * Looks like the cURL settings are created via input into the plugin options page.
   I would check that options page, and perhaps re-save the settings.
 * However this plugin is using a loopback, so you might just want to switch to 
   a different plugin.
