It’s all good but here’s why I ask.
Your users here are not your customers. They’re your collaborators. You’re not a company here, you are a volunteer providing free support for your open source plugin on your own time. When you send a user to your site, you may be helping them and you may be taking shortcuts that are not appropriate.
When you help them here in these forums, you are also helping the next person who reads this and realizes that this posted conversation may apply to them. That’s why this is all collaboration.
If it doesn’t work for them, yes the person reading this should create their own support topic.
So please, help your users here. Don’t send them to your email, it’s been abused in the past by well meaning developers taking shortcuts to access a user’s system.
