 * nothing seem to change when I use custom css. I’m using a child theme if that
   helps.

 * Please add your custom css in theme options Custom CSS option.
    If it does not
   work, Please check in inspect element(F12) of the browser window and give proper
   target path of css after that it does not work give an important in your css 
   style.

 * I am having the same problem . I tried everything but i just can’t make the “
   sort products by ” box go away from the woocommerce shop page. I found php codes.
   I had that in functions php, not working. I used a css code to hide it yet it
   doesn’t work. It worked for other people. Any tips on how to doit ? Thank you
   so much.
