 * Hello,
 * I work with Twenty Twenty Three and Polylang. The latter works easy with the
   Kadence theme, but I switched to FSE. I made a child theme following this tuto:
 * [https://developer.wordpress.org/themes/advanced-topics/child-themes/](https://developer.wordpress.org/themes/advanced-topics/child-themes/)
 * It is possible that something is wrong there but I believe I made it right.
 * I am trying to edit few things to the Polylang Legacy widget I inserted in the
   heading using CSS (in the style.css of the child theme) as explained in various
   resources around, including:
 * [https://polylang.pro/doc/how-to-display-the-widget-flags-horizontally/](https://polylang.pro/doc/how-to-display-the-widget-flags-horizontally/)
 * [https://polylang.pro/doc/how-to-remove-bullets-in-front-of-the-flags/](https://polylang.pro/doc/how-to-remove-bullets-in-front-of-the-flags/)
 * but with no success. So to find out why, I used both the custom CSS within the
   block editor and the custom CSS in /customizer.php. I also tried the same thing
   with the parent theme. None of the CSS affect the Polylang block. I am confused….
 * Thanks
 * PS: my website is under construction so I am not sharing the page yet

 * Problem is solved, it was a confusion between the different ways of enqueuing
   the stylesheet in functions.php following the instructions in the link provided
   above about child theme. Lack of knowledge made me think option 2 was sufficient
   whereas option 3 was required.
 * This is the page that brought the relief:
