I have created a custom page template that I really like. I want it to be used on every page I create but not on my blog posts.

In order to do this right now, every time I create a page I have to go to the attributes section, go to the template pull down, and select my custom template. I don’t like having to do this. I want wordpress to know that every time I create a page, it needs to use my custom template and that every time I create a post, it needs to use the regular template (like it currently does)

Any ideas? Any plugins for this? I haven’t been able to find one yet.

The Template Hierarchy article says you could save that template as page.php and that would be used if you haven’t assigned a specific template to a Page.
