Custom Deposit Amount

    Will it be/ is it possible to have a custom deposit amount instead of default value or percentage?

    I need to be able to add a deposit based on the customer (they can pay as much of a deposit as they like).

    Ideally I would like to be able to edit/create orders and add the deposit amount, then be able to send the order details to customer allowing them to pay just the deposit amount leaving the balance on the system.

    is this possible?

    I think I have figured this out, but, now, when I put a number in for fixed deposit amount it just seems to make up a random number. So, if I put in a deposit of £1000 it changes to somewhere between £1500-1600. I then changed the deposit to £100 and it changed to about £800. I can get the specifics for you if you want but its just a bit odd.

    I am creating the order first, then adding the deposit in the admin area. My thought is that I can then send the customer the invoice for the deposit but the amount issue is rather baffling.

    My bad. I got mixed up with plugins. there was not an issue with this particular plugin but these guys were great and it turns out that this plugin Deposits & Partial Payments for WooCommerce works better than any other. Support was rapid too… highly recommended.
