# Custom dropdown value not saving

 * Hi there,
 * I am trying to add some custom fields, most of them are working just fine but
   the dropdown fields are all saving the first value, not the value selected.
    
   Am I doing something wrong or is this a bug?

 * I’ve just tested this and the other options save for me when I choose them.
 * When you enter your choices are you doing….
 * Dog,Cat,Fish,Monkey
 * OR
 * Dog, Cat, Fish, Monkey
 * If you are leaving a space before each, I wonder if that’s the reason why it’s
   not saving the choice (i.e. a space is causing the problem)
 * If so, try it without spaces.
 * Let me know

 * Thanks! That fixed my problem.
    I did use blank spaces ideed, which is causing
   the problem.
