# Custom Fields Error – Never Ending Loop

 * I am hoping somebody can help with this error! I am using an older version of
   WordPress and like the new WordPress better but for my own reasons I do not want
   to update.
 * When I am in the “write a page part” of the admin section I get a never ending
   loop that eventually crashes the browser. The function that does not seem to 
   close is the custom fields. In the past, I just deleted the function out of the
   edit-page-form.php. But now I need the function, so I can add a custom field 
   to pages and I can’t figure it out. If anybody knows how this could be fixed
