Does anyone have a suggestion on how it might be possible to include ACF fields (or any other custom field method) within the caption area of MetaSlider? I’d like to be able to include a title, description, and button for each slide without having to resort to entering HTML in the caption.

Hi @juliekuehl,

Could you use shortcodes? They should work fine inside the caption. Otherwise if you need a little more control you can use the API (via WP hooks/filters) to manipulate the output before it’s displayed.

If you want to use the PI, some information is here on our site, but if you read through the code, it’s well documented and hopefully easy to follow. Let me know if you have any more questions.
