 * Hello,
    I have some custom fields assigned to a specified category. The fields
   have also “Include this field in the search from?” option checked. Search forms
   have custom fields checked in filters.
 * Those custom fields are properly showing when the corresponding category is selected
   on Create listing page.
    The custom fields values are shown on a single listing
   page.
 * Custom fields do not show in search form filters. Neither in shortcode nor widget.

   There is empty div in search form: `<div id="atbdp-custom-fields-search" class
   ="atbdp-custom-fields-search"></div>`
 * When those fields are assigned to listing form instead of category, they are
   included in filters.
    Please help me to show them.
 * The page I need help with: _[[log in](https://login.wordpress.org/?redirect_to=https%3A%2F%2Fwordpress.org%2Fsupport%2Ftopic%2Fcustom-fields-searchable%2F%3Foutput_format%3Dmd&locale=en_US)

 * Hello [@elkurczako](https://wordpress.org/support/users/elkurczako/)
 * Thank you for reaching us out.
 * We are sorry for the trouble that we may have caused. Just like the add listing
   form, the search form – custom field filter will only appear if you select the
   assigned category in the search form. Here is a video on how it works [https://www.loom.com/share/09ee2018a9ff4789bad1b64e7c0741ea](https://www.loom.com/share/09ee2018a9ff4789bad1b64e7c0741ea)
 * If the filter still doesn’t appear try changing the theme to twenty twenty and
   see if that resolves the issue.
 * Let us know the result.

 * Thanks for your answer Rafiz.
    Ok. Now I know how it works. Now I have to find
   the way to automatically select category when I’m on that category page. I want
   users who had browsed to category could see filters assigned to it without selecting
   it again. Any hint for how to achieve such feature?
