# Custom Form fields

 * I wanted to add a custom form field and so I read this documentation

 * From what I understand you should be able to just copy & paste this code into
   a template and change only the form id number and the “myprefix” text.
 * I’d really like just a text field where people can enter a comment when the donate.
 * What does the myprefix text get changed to?

 * While you could do that, we’d prefer you used a Functionality plugin so that 
   that new functionality doesn’t get lost when you change your theme.
 * Nevertheless, you can change the “myprefix” to anything you want. Just make sure
   you do that throughout the entire code snippet. Also keep in mind that we provide
   that as an example, but we cannot provide support for custom development like
   that. Code at your own risk 😉
