# Custom Menu Tooltips

 * I’m trying to make the default tooltips more noticeable by giving them a custom
   appearance. I see plenty of tips on how to remove them, not make them even more
   prominent. Any suggestions?
 * For the site [http://lizzalittlewort.co.za](http://lizzalittlewort.co.za) I would
   like the tooltips to have transparent black background `rgba (0,0,0,0.5)` with
   magenta `#ff00ff` text.
 * The tootips currently have a yellow background, black text and a drop-shadow

 * Looking at standard templates (eg. TwentyTwelve) this appears to be the default
   styling for tooltips.
 * **Note:** I already have a custom tooltip, Tipsy for one of the pages: [http://lizzalittlewort.co.za/rates](http://lizzalittlewort.co.za/rates).
   I’d rather hack the default tooltip, but if the gurus here think it would be 
   easier to make use of Tipsy, then I’m all for it.
 * I personally didn’t code the function of Tipsy, which is why it is still beyond
   me. It is implemented as part of the pricing tables code.
