# Custom permalink redirect question… :)

 * Hello all,
 * I haven’t been here in forever, and had someone help me with this before. I even
   had a file to upload to help me with this before, but I can’t find it at all.
   What I’m doing is this, redirecting all the `/id/%post_id%` to the new links 
   of `/%category%/%postname%/` so when visitors from search engines, social sites
   and such, won’t get a 404 error when going to the new permalink structure. I 
   tried some redirect permalink plugins, but they weren’t working. I think [http://scott.yang.id.au/code/permalink-redirect/](http://scott.yang.id.au/code/permalink-redirect/)
   helped me before, made a custom script to upload to redirect it all right. But
   I can’t find it now. 🙁 What can I do guys, I haven’t done this permalink stuff
   in forever… sigh. Any help is greatly appreciated.
