 * The [theme guidelines plugin territory](http://make.wordpress.org/themes/guidelines/guidelines-plugin-territory/)
says that themes must not include “Custom post-content shortcodes”. Would a shortcode
that generates a list of recent posts for a given category (intended to be used
when creating an archive page) qualify as a custom post-content shortcode or
would that be acceptable to include in a theme?

 * I’m not sure what a “custom post-content shortcode” would be. I wanted to include
a Recent Posts shortcode in my theme because I know many people create Archive
pages and having a Recent Posts shortcode would come in handy.
 * Is that rule intended to keep out shortcodes for things like YouTube videos,
social services shortcodes, etc? Would a shortcode that simply uses WordPress
   post content be OK?
