 * Are meta boxes the only way to customize a custom post type post form?
 * I know a lot can be done with a meta box but i’d like it to be completely custom
   including moving the content box in a other spot.
 * if it’s possible any good links? Can’t seam to find any.

 * The learning curve is a little steep, but the [Pods CMS Framework plugin](http://podscms.org/)
   will let you add completely custom tables to WP, each having their own formatted
   entry screen.

 * I don’t mind making use of cpt and meta offered by wordpress I would just like
   to create my own post form. Pods looks awesome but just another level i wouldn’t
   mind avoiding for now.
 * Any good online resources to creating your own custom form?
