Custom Post Type Not Working?

Hi there,

This plugin is solving a real problem for me, so thank you for that!

Quick question: I’m not getting my custom post types to work with the plugin. I suspect it may be in the syntax of my shortcode. Can you take a look? http://take.ms/XuVWu

I’ve tried it with and without quotation marks.

This is a good example of one of my custom post types: http://csazreorg.staging.wpengine.com/staff/rich-nickel/.

Please let me know if there’s other info I can provide. Thanks!

You are using categorypage="yes". Are you sure your custom post type is registered to use the “Category” taxonomy? Remember categorypage only works with native WP categories.

I think so; I added the PHP for them to use categories. Here’s a screenshot of the page listing showing that they’re assigned to a category: http://take.ms/uVO48.

Hey, that particular shortcode didn’t work at all. When inserted, my listings actually went away. Is it correct?

No, I was expecting a proper list to appear but the name must be wrong. Can you try it with id instead of name and give it a proper value of Our Team id?

Ok, changing “Our Team” to “Staff” resulted in this: http://take.ms/YMRnQ.

Only, I’m not sure what’s populating there, or where it is coming from. That list doesn’t correspond to any categories I have.
