Custom Post Types Custom Fields

    Can I modify the title field in a custom post type. My type is football players so instead of ‘title’ I would like there to be three fields in one line, a ‘Number’, ‘First Name’, and ‘Last Name’. Is this possible?

    You mean, when you create like a normal page, there’s the title tag for that page? If that’s what you mean by title, then of course!

    Yes, it is possible.

    You could use the title tag or not. I think, in your case, I would just add 3 fields and then, in CSS, display them side to side.
