# Custom Post Types & the Shortcode

 * I am having an issue getting the starbox to show up when using the shortcode 
   on a custom post type.
    - I am using the latest version
    - I enabled the shortcode use
    - I have unchecked the “hide author box on custom posts”
    - I have enabled the starbox on the particular user
 * The starbox works great on regular posts when the author is the same as the starbox,
   however, whenever I use the shortcode, all I get on the page is [starbox] or [
   starbox id=(number)] instead of the actual starbox. The shortcode works fine 
   on regular posts (with or without ID), but doesn’t seem to work at all on my 
   custom post types.
 * Any suggestions or advice?
